Yüksek Akımlı Nazal Oksijenasyon ve Endikasyonları

Yüksek akım nazal oksijenasyon, solunum yetmezliği tedavisinde standart oksijen tedavisi veya noninvaziv ventilasyona alternatif olarak gittikçe artan oranda kullanılmaktadır. Ülkemizde de COVID-19 pandemisi ile kullanımı yaygınlaşmıştır. Bu derlemede amaç yüksek akım nazal kanülün avantajları, dezavantajları ve kullanım alanlarını literatür eşliğinde gözden geçirmektir.

High Flow Nasal Oxygenation and Indications

High flow nasal oxygenation is increasingly being used as an alternative to standard oxygen therapy or noninvasive ventilation in the treatment of respiratory failure. In our country, its use has become widespread with the COVID-19 pandemic. The aim of this review is to discuss the advantages, disadvantages and indications of high flow nasal cannula in the light of the litera- ture.
