ANESTHESIA MANAGEMENT OF POLAND SYNDROME ANDINFRACLAVICULAR BLOCK APPLICATION WITH ULTRASONOGRAPHY
Poland Syndrome is a very rare congenital disorder which is usually characterized by underdevelopment or absence of pectoralmuscles, chest and hand anomalies. Especially, chest deformity may lead to respiratory complications during performance of generalanesthesia. Anatomical deformities may also cause difficulty of regional anesthesia procedures. Here, we present the case of a 43year old Poland syndrome patient and discussed his anesthetic management. Ultrasound guided infraclavicular block wasperformed for postoperative analgesia.
