Çalışanlarda Erteleme Davranışı (İşyeri Prokrastinasyonu) Gelişiminde Zaman Tuzaklarının Etkisi

Buçalışmanın amacı, çalışanlarda erteleme davranışı eğilimi ile zaman tuzaklarınısaptamak, erteleme davranışı ile zaman tuzakları arasında anlamlı bir ilişkiolup olmadığını araştırmak, eğer anlamlı bir ilişki var ise kişi ve iş kaynaklızaman tuzaklarının erteleme davranışına etkisini belirlemek ve çalışanlarınerteleme davranışının demografik faktörlere göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösteripgöstermediğini incelemektir. Bu amaca bağlı olarak Zonguldak ilinde faaliyetgösteren özel bir işletmede çalışan 170 kişiden yüz yüze anket yöntemiyle verielde edilmiştir. Elde edilen bu veriler SPSS ve AMOS programları iledeğerlendirilmiş, güvenirlik, geçerlilik, frekans, korelasyon, çoklu regresyon,Mann-Whitney U ve Kruskal Wallis H testleri ile analiz edilmiştir.Gerçekleştirilen analizler sonucunda; zaman tuzaklarının erteleme davranışınaetki eden önemli bir faktör olduğu, özellikle de kişi kaynaklı zamantuzaklarının erteleme davranışı üzerinde baskın bir etkisi olduğu sonucunavarılmıştır.

Impact of Time Traps on the Development of Procrastination Behavior (Workplace Procrastination) in Employees

The purpose of this study is to detect the tendency to procrastination and time traps in employees, to investigate if there is a meaningful relationship between procrastination behavior and time traps and, if there is a meaningful relationship, to determine the impact of employee or work-based time traps on procrastination behavior and to examine whether this behavior of employees has a meaningful difference according to demographic factors. Therefore, using a face-to-face survey method, the data have been obtained from 170 employees working in a private company in Zonguldak. These data were evaluated by SPSS and AMOS programs and analyzed with reliability, validity, frequency, correlation, multiple regression, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal Wallis H tests. As a result of the analyzes; we drew a conclusion that time traps are an important factor influencing procrastination in workplace and in particular, employee-based time traps have a dominant impact on procrastination.
