The Influence of the Far Right Parties on EU Members’ Migration Policies

This study aims to reveal that far-right parties are direct or indirect actors in the migration policiesimplemented in European countries. In this context, case studies have been conducted on theexamples of France, Netherlands and Italy and how the far-right political parties that existed in thesecountries have changed their immigration policies especially in the early 2000s. As a result of thisanalysis, it was found that far right parties can influence the migration policies in a transformativerole as a small partner of government or by suppressing right-wing conservative parties in power.
