Küreselleşmeyle birlikte oldukça geniş bir alana yayılan turizm olgusu, sosyolojinin yeni bir alanı olarak incelenmeye başlamasını da beraberinde getirmiştir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın temel konusu, turizmin toplumlar için sosyolojik bir önem kazandığından hareketle Türkiye'deki yerleşik turistlerin sosyal ve kültürel hayattaki konumlarını tartışmaya açmaktır. Dünyada “uluslararası emekli göçleri” ya da “yaşlı göçleri” başlıklarıyla incelenen bu konuların Türkiye'de yeni bir alan olması ve bu tür çalışmaların sosyolojik açıdan incelenmeye ihtiyaç duyması, çalışmanın temel amacını oluşturmaktadır. Hazırlanmış olan bu çalışma, “Antalya-Finike Örneği” başlığıyla Türkiye'ye yerleşen turistler üzerine bir çalışmadır. Çalışmada iki yöntem kullanılmıştır. İlkinde, Türkiye'deki yerleşik turistlerin yaşadıkları bölgelerdeki problemleri, bölgeye katkıları ve sosyal yapıda ortaya çıkarttıkları değişimleri, basına yansıyan haberlerin içerik çözümlemesiyle ortaya koyulmuştur. Diğer yöntemde ise, Finike'de yaşayan yerleşik turistlerle yapılmış görüşme sonuçları çözümlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuç kısmında ise yerleşik turistlerle ilgili sosyal ve kültürel konular için uzmanlara ve yetkili kurumlara düşen sorumluluklar tartışılmıştır.

The phenomenon of tourism has emitted a wide area with globalization effect and this has given rise to analysing tourism as a new field in sociology. The subject of the research is to discuss social and cultural location of settled tourists in Turkey assuming the growing importance of tourism in the field of sociology. This paper aims to investigate “international retirement migration” or “elderly migration” which are already discussed in the world, but is a new subject in Turkey, with the opinion that these topics require to be investigated from a sociological perspective. This research entitled as “Antalya/Finike Case Study” has been prepared about settled foreigners in Turkey. In this research, two methods were used. The first method is that the study has put forward problems about the settled foreigners' living places, their contributions to the region they live and changes coming out in social structure with the content analysis of newspaper reports. When it comes to second method, the results of the interviews conducted with the settled foreigner tourists in Finike were analyzed. In the conclusion part of the study, responsibilities of experts and authorities about settled tourists' social and cultural aspects are discussed.
