Yeşil Tedarik Zinciri Uygulamaları: Alüminyum Doğrama Sektörü İzmir Örneği

Artmakta olan çevresel sorunlar ve kaynak kıtlığı, firmaların çevreye duyarlılık konusunda daha bilinçli davranıp bu konuda önlemler almalarını gerektirmektedir. Bu bağlamda firmalar, doğal kaynakların dengeli ve adil kullanımını dikkate alarak, tedarik zincirlerini etkin yönetmelidirler. Yeşil tedarik zinciri yönetimi, çevreye verilen zararı en aza indirerek, zincirde yer alan firmaların ekolojik etkinliğini arttırırken aynı zamanda firmaların kar ve pazar payını arttırmayı hedefleyen bir örgüt felsefesi olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, yeşil tedarik zinciri uygulamalarının mevcut durumunun ortaya konulabilmesine yönelik veri sağlamaktır. Alüminyum doğrama sektöründe İzmir’de faaliyet gösteren bir tedarik zinciri içerisinde yer alan işletmelerle yapılan mülakatlar neticesinde elde edilen bulgular, yeşil tedarik zinciri uygulamalarının istenilen düzeyde olmadığını ve geliştirilmesi gerektiğini göstermektedir.
