ürkiye’de Yurtiçi Tasarruflar ve Ekonomik Büyüme Arasındaki İlişki

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de 1981-2015 dönemi yurtiçi tasarruflar ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Çalışmada, yurtiçi tasarruflar ile ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek için kullanılan değişkenler Dünya Bankasından elde edilmiştir. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi sınamak için ARDL yöntemi kullanılmıştır. ARDL analiz sonucun-da, kısa ve uzun dönemde, yurtiçi tasarruflar ile eko-nomik büyüme arasında çift yönlü pozitif bir ilişkinin olduğunu tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular, yurtiçi tasarruflar ile ekonomik büyümenin birbirini pozitif yönde etkile-diğini göstermektedir.

The Relationship Between Domestic Savings and Economic Growth in Turkey

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship bet-ween domestic savings and economic growth in Turkey during the period 1981-2015. In this study, variables used to examine the relationship between domestic sa-vings and economic growth were obtained from the World Bank. The ARDL method is used to test the relati-onship between variables. As a result of the ARDL analy-sis, there is a bi-directional positive relationship between domestic savings and economic growth in the short and long run. These results indicate that domestic savings and economic growth affects each other positively.
