Sanal ortamda bağımlılık: Bilinçli farkındalığın aracı rolüne ilişkin bir model sınaması

Amaç: Bu araştırmada, ergenlerde problemli akıllı telefon ve internet kullanımı arasındaki ilişkide bilinçli farkında- lığın aracı rolüne ilişkin geliştirilen modelin sınanması amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmanın verileri Akıllı Telefon Bağımlılık Ölçeği, Çocuk ve Ergenler için Bilinçlilik Ölçeği, İnternet Bağımlılığı Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Veriler 2018 yılında Erzurum il merkezindeki 308 ortaokul öğrencisinden elde edilmiştir. Araştırma verilerinin analizi LISREL 8.54 ve SPSS 22 programı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmada bilinçli farkındalığın dolaylı etki tahminini bulabilmek için SPSS Macro Process programı kullanılmıştır. Aracı rolün istatistiksel olarak anlamlılığı bootstrap testi ile hesaplanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırma sonucunda bilinçli farkındalık ile problemli akıllı telefon ve internet kullanımı arasında orta düzeyde ve negatif yönde ilişkilerin olduğu bulunmuştur. Bunun yanı sıra, problemli akıllı telefon ve internet kullanı- mı arasında orta düzeyde ve pozitif yönde ilişkilerin olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırmada problemli akıllı telefon ve internet kullanımı arasındaki ilişkide bilinçli farkındalığın kısmi aracı rol oynadığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Araştırma sonucunda bilinçli farkındalığın aracılık etkisine yönelik modelin doğrulandığı görülmüştür. Bu doğrultuda bilinçli farkındalığın ergenlerin problemli internetin kullanımının azaltılmasına yönelik çalışmalarda kullanılabileceği düşü- nülebilir. (Anadolu Psikiyatri Derg 2019; 20(2):153-158)

Addiction in a virtual environment: a model test for the mediation role of mindfulness

Objective: In this research, it was aimed to test the model developed on the mediating role of mindfulness in the relationship between problematic smartphone and internet usage in adolescents. Methods: The data were collected using the Smart Phone Dependency Scale, the Child and Adolescent Awareness Scale, and the Internet Dependency Scale. These data were obtained from 308 middle school students in Erzurum province center. Ana- lysis of the research data was done with LISREL 8.54 and SPSS 22 program. The SPSS Macro Process program was used to find the indirect effect estimate of mindfulness in the study. The SPSS Macro Process program was used to calculate the indirect effect estimate of the variables in the study. The statistical significance of the role of the mediator was calculated by the bootstrap test. Findings: The research found that there was a moderate and negative relationship between mindfulness and problematic use of smartphones and the internet. In addition, it was seen that there is a moderate and positive relationship between problem smartphone and internet use. In addition, it has been determined that there is a mindfulness of the relationship between problem smart phone and internet usage in research. Result: Because of the research, the model for the mediating effect of mindfulness has been confirmed.
