Cinsel Yaşamda Üstünlük Ölçeği: Kadın örnekleminde geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik ölçütleri

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, Cinsel Yaşamda Üstünlük (İktidar) Ölçeğinin (CYÜÖ) güvenilirlik ve geçerlilik ölçütlerini incelemektir. Yöntem: Manisa kent merkezinde 18 yaş ve üzerindeki 479 kadın ile görüşülmüştür. Ölçeğin güvenilirlik analizinde iç tutarlılık katsayısı, geçerlilik ölçümünde açıklayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi, ayırt edici ve bilinen gruplar geçerliliği hesaplanmıştır. Analizde Lisrel, SPSS ve MAP yazılımları kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: CYÜÖ'nün Cronbach alfa değeri 0.86'dır. Ölçeğin ilişki kontrolü alt boyutunun Cronbach alfa değeri 0.85, karar verme iktidarı alt boyutunun 0.76'dır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi uyum iyiliği değerleri RMSEA=0.074, ki-kare/sd=2.58 ve CFI=0.93'tür. Ölçek, sosyodemografik özellikler ve şiddete maruz kalma durumunu ayırt edebilir niteliktedir. Diğer toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği tutumunu ölçen araçlarla anlamlı düzeyde korelasyon göstermektedir. Sonuç: CYÜÖ, cinsel yaşam alanında toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliği tutumunu değerlendiren çalışmalarda kullanılabilecek güvenilir ve geçerli bir ölçektir.

Adaptation of the Sexual Relationship Power Scale to Turkish, and validity and reliability criteria of the scale in women

Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the reliability and validity criteria of the Sexual Relationship Power Scale (SRPS). Methods: Four hundred seventy-nine women aged 18 and over and living in the city center of Manisa were interviewed. For the reliability analysis of the scale, the internal consistency coefficient was computed. For its validity analysis, descriptive and confirmatory factor analysis was performed, and the discriminant and known groups' validity was computed. In the analysis, Lisrel, SPSS and MAP software were used. Results: The Cronbach's alpha value of the SRPS is 0.86. The Cronbach's alpha value is 0.85 for the relationship control subscale, and 0.76 for the decision-making dominance subscale. Confirmatory factor analysis goodness of fit values are 0.074 for the RMSEA, 2.58 for the chi-square/sd and 0.93 for the CFI. The scale can distinguish sociodemographic characteristics and exposure to violence. The scale significantly correlates with other scales used to measure gender equality. Conclusion: SRPS is a reliable and valid scale to be used in studies evaluating gender equality.
