Küreselleşme sürecinde ülkemiz arıcılığı için olası bir zararlı: Küçük kovan böceği (Aethina tumida)

Son yıllarda gelişen küreselleşme sürecine paralel olarak kıtalar ve ülkeler arasında materyal değişim olgusu hız kazanmıştır. Bu olaydan tüm sektörlerin olduğu gibi arıcılık sektörünün de etkilenmesi kaçınılmazdır. Günümüzde Amerika ve Avustralya'da yaygın olarak bulunan ve arıcılık sektörüne büyük zararlar veren Afrika kökenli küçük kovan böceğinin diğer ülkelere ve ülkemize bulaşması da oldukça yüksek bir olasılıktır. Bu zararlının daha ülkemize bulaşmadan tanınması, kontrolü, biyolojisi ve savaşım yöntemleri konusunda arı yetiştiricilerimizin bilinçlendirilmesi ile küçük kovan böceğinin olası zararlarına karşı zamanında önlem alınması sağlanacaktır.

Small hive beetle (Aethina tumida): A probable harmfull for our country on globalisation proces

The material changing is accelarated between countries and continents in recent years as parallel to globalisation process. All sectors and beekeeping is affected from this situation. Nowadays srhall hive beetle that originated from Africa is common in USA and Australia be harmful to beekeeping sector. It is probability that this insect may be. enfested to our and other countries. Beekeepers must be become conscious about this insect's identification, control, biology and fight methods before not enfeste our country. Thus it will be made precaution against probable damages of small hive beetles.
