THOMAS AQUINAS'IN İKTİSAT DÜŞÜNCESİNDE IUSTUM PRETIUM/ADİL FİYAT KAVRAMI ÜZERİNE BİR İNCELEME

Bu çalışma, öğretisi bugün Katolik Kilisesi’nin resmî felsefesini oluşturan ve Skolastik Felsefenin etkili düşünürlerinden olan Thomas Aquinas’ın iustum pretium kavramına odaklanmakta ve bu kavram üzerinden Aquinas’ın iktisat düşüncesini ele almaktadır. Bu kapsamda Skolastizmin yükseliş döneminde şekillenen adil fiyat ve ticaret gibi düşünceler Thomas Aquinas’ın Summa Theologica eseri üzerinden incelenecek ve sonuçları değerlendirilecektir.

A STUDY ON THE CONCEPT OF IUSTUM PRETIUM/FAIR PRICE IN ECONOMIC THOUGHT OF THOMAS AQUINAS

This study focuses on the concept of iustum pretium of Thomas Aquinas, one of the influential thinkers of Scholastic Philosophy, whose teaching forms the official philosophy of the Catholic Church today, and deals with Aquinas's economic thought through this concept. In this context, ideas such as fair price and trade, which were shaped during the rise of Scholasticism, will be examined through Thomas Aquinas' Summa Theologica and its results will be evaluated.
