Helikobakter pylori (+) kronik aktif gastritli ve duodenal ülserli hastalarda MHC I klas reseptor ekspresyonu

Giriş ve amaç: Helikobakter pylori midenin antrumunda, mukus altındaki epitel hücre yüzeyinde kolonize olarak kronik aktif gastrit ve duodenal ülser oluşumundaki rolü ispatlanmıştır. Bununla birlikte, organizmanı n bütünlügü ve dokunulmazlığını korumakla görevli olan immün sistemin bu bakterilere ve duodenumda oluşan doku hasarına vermiş olduğu yanıt hakkında bildiklerimiz azdır. Çalışmamızın amacı, duodenum ülserli hastaların periferik venöz kanındaki immün hücrelerde MHC I klas reseptör ekspresyonunu incelenmektir. MHC class I reseptör expression in the patients with Helicobacter pylori (+) chromic active gastritis and duodenal ulcer disease

Background and aims: The role of Helicobacter pylori in the chronic active gastritis and duodenal ulcer development by colonizing the epithelial surface under the mucus of the antrum is proven. But our knowledge about the immune response to H. pylori and tissue injury due to the bacteria is limited. The aim of this study is to evaluate the MHC class 1 receptor expression in the peripheral venous blood of the patients with duodenal ulcer. Materials and methods: One hundred and twenty-four patients having H. Pylori without any treatment before [47 of them having small sized duodenal ulcers(<6mm); 56 having medium sized duodenal ulcers (6-12mm) and 21 of them are healthy controls] were included in to the study. The peripheral blood of patients were evaluated for ımmune cells expressing CD3, CD4, CD3/4, CD8, CD3/8, CD16/56, CD3/16/56 receptors and non-spesific reactivity markers by DAKO Dual Color Reagent. Results: Non-spesific reactivity markers between patient groups and healthy controls did not show differance. The number of triple CD3/16/56 receptor expressing cells which were more aggressive NK cells were found higher in patient groups than the control (p<0.005). Significancy found related with ulcer size. Conclusion: The higher number of triple CD3/16/56 receptor expressing cells could show tendency to autoimmunity in patients having chronic antral gastritis and duodenal ulcers with H. Pylori.
