Füzyon, komşu iki dişin birleşmesi ile karakterize, gelişimsel bir anomalidir Füzyonlu dişler, estetik problemlerin yanı sıra; yer darlığı, sürme güçlüğü, çürük ve lokal dişeti rahatsızlıkları gibi klinik sorunlara da neden olabilirler. Diş hekimi rutin dental muayene sırasında füzyonlu dişlerin tespitinde dikkatli davranmalı, teşhis edilmiş dişlerde soruna yönelik tedavi seçeneklerini uygulamalıdır

Fusion: A Literature Update

Fusion is a developmental anomaly, characterized by the union of two adjacent teeth. In addition to its esthetic consequences, fusion of teeth may cause crowding, caries and gingival problems and may interfere with eruption. Due to its asymptomatic nature, the clinician should be careful in evaluating fused teeth during routine examination. Once diagnosed, the treatment should aim to resolve specific problems caused by the fusion
