Devital Ağartma Uygulanmış Dişlere Yapıştırılan Braketlerin Bağlanma Kuvvetlerinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmanın amacı, devital ağartma uygulanmış dişlere yapıştırılan porselen ve metal braketlerin makaslama bağlanma kuvvet MBK değerleri ile kopma sonrası artık adeziv indeks AAİ skorlarını tespit etmektir. Kırk adet alt keser dişe kök kanal tedavisi yapılmış ve daha sonra dişler her birinde on adet olmak üzere rastgele 4 gruba ayrılmıştır. 1. gruba ağartma işlemi uygulanmamış ve metal braket yapıştırılmıştır. 2. gruba ağartma işlemi uygulanmamış ve seramik braket yapıştırılmıştır. 3. gruba devital ağartma uygulanmış ve metal braket yapıştırılmıştır. 4. gruba devital ağartma uygulanmış ve seramik braket yapıştırılmıştır. Tüm dişlerin MBK ve AAİ skorları ölçülmüş, ANOVA ve post-hoc Tukey testleri kullanılarak istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmiştir. En yüksek ortalama MBK değeri 14,01±1,41 MPa 2. grupta, en düşük ortalama MBK değeri ise 6,79±1,14 MPa 3. grupta saptanmıştır. Seramik braketlerin yapıştırıldığı dişlerde braket kopmasının genellikle mineadeziv aralığında oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir. Devital ağartma işleminin braketlerin tutuculuğunu azalttığı ve seramik braketlerin MBK kuvvetlerinin, metal braketlerinkinden istatistiksel olarak önemli düzeyde yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir P

Evaluation of Shear Bond Strength of Brackets Bonded to Devital Bleached Teeth

The aim of this study was to evaluate the shear bond strength SBS and the adhesive remnant index ARI scores of the ceramic and metal brackets bonded to devital bleached teeth. Forty mandibular central incisor teeth were endodontically treated and randomly divided into 4 groups each containing 10 teeth. Metal brackets were bonded to the teeth in the first group, which received no bleaching. Ceramic brackets were bonded to the teeth in the second group, which either received no bleaching. Teeth in the third group had devital bleaching and metal brackets were bonded to them. Teeth in the fourth group were bleached either and ceramic brackets were bonded to them. The SBS and ARI scores of all teeth were recorded. Data was statistically analysed using ANOVA and posthoc Tukey tests. The second group showed the highest SBS score 14,01 ±1,41 MPa and the third group showed the lowest 6,79 ± 1,14 MPa . The adhesive failures were observed commonly in the enamel-adhesive interphase in the ceramic bracket groups. Devital bleaching procedure decreases the SBS of the brackets.
