Pseudotumors in the pelvis are due to the polyethylene wear of hip arthroplasty. They occurs mostly around the joint but may sometimes protrude into the pelvic area, causing various symptoms. We present a rare case of pelvic pseudotumor which becomes manifest with urinary obstruction in the presence of an asymptomatic hip joint.
