KÖLE KIZ DİYA’NIN SATIŞ BELGESİ ÜZERİNDEN KAHİRE GENİZA KOLEKSİYONU

Kahire’de Ben Ezra Sinagogunda bulunan Geniza belgeleri Ortaçağ’ın en önemli merkezlerinden biri olan şehrin, 950-1250 yılları arasındaki dönemine ışık tutması bakımından oldukça önemlidir. Koleksiyon içerisinde Yahudilerin özellikle Eyyubi Devleti’nin hakimiyeti altında yaşadıkları dönemde sosyo-kültürel ve ekonomik durumları ile ilgili çok sayıda belge mevcuttur. Bu çalışmanın amacı Kahire Geniza koleksiyonundan alınan bir belgeden yola çıkılarak Yahudilerin ticaret usullerini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışmamızda 1226 yılında Diya adında bir köle kızın satılmasını gösteren söz konusu belge incelenmiştir. Belgenin dili, tarihlendirilmesi, köle olarak satılan Diya’nın fiyatı, kinyan uygulaması ve satış işlemlerinde vekil tayin etme geleneği gibi detaylar çalışmamızın muhteviyatını oluşturmaktadır.

Cairo Genizah Collection On Sales Document Of Slave Girl Diya

The Genizah documents found in the Ben Ezra Synagogue in Cairo which was one of the most important centers of the Middle Ages are very important in terms of shedding light on the period between 950-1250 of the city. There are many documents in the collection about the socio-cultural and economic conditions of the Jews, especially during the period when they lived under the rule of the Ayyubid State. The aim of this purpose is to reveal her commercial methods based on a document taken from the Cairo Genizah collection. In our study, was used a sample of a slave sale document from the Genizah collection. Details such as the language of the document, its dating, the price of Diya sold as a slave, the practice of qinyan and the tradition of appointing a proxy in sales transactions constitute the content of our study.
