The Value of the Cultural Monuments of the Great Silk Road in the Inter-Ethnic and Intercultural Dialogue

Cultural space, which has become one of the central objects of humanitarian research today, is a complex multi-level system that requires an integrated approach to its consideration. The cultural space of the Turkestan segment of the Great Silk Road has a rich cultural and historical heritage: archaeological, historical and architectural monuments, etc. The culture of the peoples of the Turkestan segment of the Great Silk Road is a multi-level system that combines the achievements of more than one hundred ethnic groups. This peculiarity of the region was the main reason for the unique diversity of ―cultural spaces‖, an important condition for the continued existence of which is a competent state policy in the field of preservation of cultural heritage. The phenomenon of cultural heritage is a dynamic system of elements and levels of socio-cultural interactions. In recent decades, Kazakhstan has witnessed changes in the political, socio-economic and cultural spheres associated with the development of innovative processes. That is why there is a need to create and implement cultural heritage conservation programs at the level of regions and municipalities.
