Üstün Yetenekli Öğrencilerin Mesleki Olgunluk Düzeyleri İle Algıladıkları Sosyal Destek Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişkinin İncelenmesi

Üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin mesleki olgunluk düzeyleri ile algıladıkları sosyal destek düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelendiği bu araştırma genel tarama modelinde yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak "Mesleki Olgunluk Ölçeği" ve "Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2008-2009 eğitim öğretim döneminde Konya’daki Fen Liselerinde eğitim gören lise son sınıf öğrencilerinden, tesadüfi eleman örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş 275 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizinde, araştırmanın sürekli değişkenleri arasında ilişkilerin saptanması için Pearson Momentler Çarpımı Korelâsyon Katsayısı; ölçeklerden alınan puanların cinsiye göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadıklarının tespiti için de ilişkisiz gruplar için t testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulguları üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin mesleki olgunluk düzeyleri ile algıladıkları sosyal destek arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğunu ortaya koymuştur

EXAMINATION OFTHE RELATIONSHIPBETWEEN GIFTED STUDENTS’ CAREER MATURITY LEVELS AND THEIR PERCEIVED SOCIALSUPPORT LEVELS

This research observed the relationship between gifted students’ career maturity levels and their perceived social support levels and it was conducted by survey method. “Career Maturity Scale” and “Perceived Social Support Scale” were used in order to gather data. The scope of the study is 275 students which were chosen by random sampling method were in Science high schools last year in Konya at 2008-2009 educational years. Pearson Moments Correlation Coefficient was used in order to determine the relationships between the constant variables and independent samples t test was used in order to determine the differentiation of scores taken from scales according to gender in data analysis process. There is a significant relationship between genius students’ career maturity levels and their perceived social support levels according to research findings
