DEV RETROSTERNAL GUATRDA CERRAHİ

ÖZET:Retrosternal guatr veya substernal guatr, göğüs boşluğu içinde yer kaplayıcı özelliğe sahip olan ve büyük çoğunlukla guatrın büyüyerek üst mediastinuma doğru uzanım gösteren bunun yanında primer mediasten orjinli de olabilen bası semptomlarına yol açabilen tiroid bezi patolojisidir. Retrosternal guatr, bası semptomlarına yol açabilmesi, potansiyel hava yolu obstrüksiyonu yaratabilmesi ve malignite olasılığı göz önüne alındığında cerrahi olarak tedavi edilmesi gereken bir durumdur. Bizim olgumuzda ise 53 yaşındaki erkek hastaya 3 aydır nefes darlığı ve uyku apne sendromu olması sebebi ile tanı amaçlı bilgisayarlı toraks tomografisi çekildi. Mediastinuma uzanım gösteren dev substernal guatrolması sebebi ile genel cerrahi ile cerrahi planladık.Anahtar Kelimeler: retrosternal guatr, tiroid, coller insizyon, median sternotomiABSTRACT:Retrosternal goiter or substernal goiter, which has space occupying property in the chest cavity and mostly primary besides showing the upper mediastinum true extent of the growth of goiter mediastinal origin of the thyroid gland pathology can lead to also be the pressure symptoms.
