Mersin Körfezi’nde Dağılım Gösteren İzmarit Balıklarının Maena sp. Bazı Biyolojik Özelliklerinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmada, Mersin Körfezi’ nde dağılım gösteren İzmarit balığının bazı biyolojik özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla, 1 Ekim 2004- 31 Mart 2005 tarihleri arasında yakalanan toplam 370 adet balık örneği incelenmiştir. İzmarit balıklarında dişi+erkek minimum ve maksimum total boy değerleri 10,518,4 cm, ağırlık değerleri ise 13,3-68,47 g olarak tespit edilmiştir. Avlanan balıkların % 52,43’ ünün dişi, % 47,57’ sinin erkek olduğu ve en fazla balığın 2 yaş grubunda % 42,70 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Von Bertalanffy’ nin boyca ve ağırlıkça büyüme sabitlerinden L∞ = 21,47 cm , K = 0,2298, to = -2,442 ve W∞ = 72,94 g, K = 0,275, to = -0,341 şeklinde, boy-ağırlık ilişki denklemi ise; W=00759*L2,312646şeklinde bulunmuştur. Populasyondaki bireylerin kondisyon faktörleri 1,134 ile 1,740 arasında dağılım göstermektedir
