Marmara Üniversitesi Kadın Doğum Polikliniğine başvuranların pap smear konusundaki bilgileri ve test sonuçları
Amaç: M.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Kadın Doğum Polikliniğine Aralık-Ocak-Şubat döneminde başvuran kadınların Pap smear testi sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesi ile bu testin uygulandığı kadınların test konusundaki bilgi ve tutumlarını araştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Kesitsel tipteki bu çalışmada,M.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi Kadın Doğum Polikliniğine Aralık-Ocak-Şubat döneminde başvuran 571 kadının Pap smear test sonuçları değerlendirildi ve test istenen 100 kadına test ile ilgili bilgi ve davranışlarını sorgulayan bir anket uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Hastanemizin patoloji arşiv sonuçlarına göre, sözü edilen 571 kadının;sadece 1'inde(%0.1) prekanseröz lezyon bulunmuştur. Diğer sonuçlar, atrofi, inflamasyon ve infeksiyon bulguları şeklindedir. Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 48.6±11.0 yıldır. Yüzde 49'u ev hanımı, %61'i lise ve üstü eğitim almış, %83.7'sinin aylık gelir düzeyi 700YTL ve üzeridir. Test results and knowledge about pap smear of whom apply to Marmara University Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic
Objective: To assess the Pap smear test results of the women who applied to Marmara University Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic for December-February period and knowledge and attitudes of whom tested. Materials and Methods: In this cross-sectional study test results of the 571 women who applied to Marmara University Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic for December-February period were analyzed and a questionnaire that is about the smear test knowledge and behavior toward obtaining it was applied. Results: According to the results that were collected from the pathology archive of our hospital only 1 (%0.2) of the total 571 women has precancerous lesion. Other results were listed as, atrophy, inflammation and infection findings. Mean age of the participants was 48.6±11.0 years. Forty nine percentage of them were house wives and 61% was graduated from high school or higher, monthly income of 83.7% was ?700YTL. Greater proportions knew the name of the test among the women who knew the reason in ordering the test, compared with those who were not (p=0.004).
