Bu çalışmada Van ve çevresinde elma bahçelerinde yaygın olarak kullanılan baa tarımsal savaş ilaçlarının önemli bir yaprakbiti avcısı olan Scymnus apetzi (Muİsant)'ye toksik etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla Fluvalinate, Primicarb, Methidathion, Parathion-methyl, Bromopropylate ve Bakır'ın Sİ apetzinin larva ve erginlerine etkisi daldırma ve kura film yöntemleri ile denenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre S. apetzinin larva ve erginlerine Methidâthion'un zehirlilik etkisi gerek daldırma gerekse kuru film yönteminde diğer ilaçlara göre oldukça yüksek bulunurken, Parathion-methyl orta derecede bir etkiye sahip olmuştur Denemede kullanılan diğer i (açların S. apetzinm larva ve erginlerine zehirlilik etkisi ise düşül bulunmuştur

In this study, the side effects of some pesticides commonly used in apple orchards in Van Region were studied on the an important aphidophagous coccinellid, Scymnus apetzi. Reccomended dosage of" Fluvalinate, Primicarb, Methidathion, Parathion-methyl, Bromopropylate and Copper Qxychlorur wen; applied oil S apetzi by dipping and resudial film methods in laboratory Acording to results, toxicity of Methidatliion was fairly high to S. apetzi larvae and adults by both of two methods in coriiparatibn to the other pesticides. Parathion-methyl was found moderately toxic The other pesticides were nontoxic to both larvae and adults
