Bu çalışmada, lise 10.ve 11. sınıf öğrencilerinin geometri dersi başarı durumları Van ili örneği verilerek analiz edilmiştir. Van'da bulunan 12 farklı liseden 653 tanesi lise-2 ve 504 tanesi de lise-3 olmak üzere toplam 1157 öğrenci üzerinde bir test uygulanmıştır. Uygulanan test ile öğrencilere toplam 29 adet soru sorulmuştur. Öğrencilerin sorulara verdikleri cevaplar her soru için ayrı ayrı analiz edilmiştir. Her bir sorunun başarı analizi okul-okul ve sınıf-sınıf incelendikten sonra genel bir analiz gerçekleştirilmiş ve çizelge haline getirilerek hem okullar arasındaki, hem de 10. sınıf öğrencileri ile 11. sınıf öğrencileri arasındaki başarı durumları içeren sayısal sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.

In this study ,the levels ot success of the students of the 10 th and 11 th grade classes at geometry in high schools of Van have been investigated. A test has been applied ta 1157 students, 653 of whom were 10 th class students and 504 of whom were 11 th class students. They were all chosen from 12 different high scholls. In this test totally 29 questions, 17 of which were geometry questions and 12 of which were questionaire questioins, were asked to the students. Each of the answers the students answered to the questions, was analysed respectively for each of the questions, was analysed respectively for each of the questions. Generally a table of analyse was prepared results far the success including full of each question and evaluating positive results with respect to schools and classes in order to see the differences between schools and between 10 th and 11 th classes.
