The Impact of Communication Climate and Job Satisfaction in Employees’ External Prestige Perceptions

Örgütsel çıktılar üzerindeki olumlu etkisi nedeni ile, çalısanlara ait kurumsal itibar algısı kavramı son yıllarda büyük önem kazanmıstır. Bu baglamda arastırmanın temel amacı, algılanan dıs itibarın öncellerini incelemek olmustur. Söz konusu amaca ulasmak için olusturulan iki farklı model vasıtası ile, 375 firma çalısanından toplanan veriler öncelikle üç asamalı regresyon analizine tabi tutulmus ve is tatmininin örgütsel iletisim iklimi ile algılanan dıs itibar arasındaki mevcut iliskideki dolaylı etkisi incelenmistir.Daha sonra ise, hiyerarsik regresyon analizi kullanılarak örgütsel iletisim ikliminin, is tatmini ile algılanan itibar arasındaki iliskideki direkt rolü incelenmistir. Sonuç olarak is tatmini,örgütsel iletisim iklimi ile algılanan dıs itibar arasındaki iliskide bir ara degisken olarak ortaya çıkmıs ve bu nedenle, örgütsel iletisim ikliminin is tatmini ile kurumsal itibar algısı arasındaki iliskide herhangi bir moderatör (direkt etkileyici) etkisinin olmadıgı görülürken, kurumsal itibar algısı üzerinde ancak is tatmini vasıtası ile dolaylı bir etki yarattıgı sonucuna varılmıstır.

Örgütsel İletişim İklimi ve İş Tatmininin Çalışanların Kurumsal İtibar Algıları Üzerindeki Etkileri

The importance of perceived external prestige (PEP) has gained importance recently because of its significant effects on organizational outcomes. The primary aim of this study was to explore the antecedents of perceived external prestige. The important constructs which were included in the two different models were communication climate and job satisfaction. To explore their effects on PEP, data were collected from a sample of 375 employees. Three stage multiple regression method was used to test the mediating effect of job satisfaction and hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to test the moderating effect of communication. The results indicated that job satisfaction mediated the relationship between communication climate and PEP, but communication climate did not have a moderating effect.
