Günümüzde yaygın olarak kullanılmakta olan fosil esaslı yakıtların dışa bağımlı ve maliyetli olması, yenilenebilir kaynak olmaması ve dolayısıyla belirli bir süre sonra tükenecek olması bir tarafa, bunların yakılması sonucu oluşan karbondioksitin oluşturduğu sera etkisiyle meydana gelmekte olan çevresel tehlikeler, alternatif enerji kaynaklarının önemini çok artırmıştır. Bu kaynaklar içinde ülkemiz için en kolay ve en yaygın olarak kullanılabilecek olanı güneş enerjisidir. Bu çalışmada ülkemiz için bir o kadar önemli olan güneş enerjisi ve kullanım potansiyelinden ve güneş güç sistemleri arasında avantajları bakımından ön plana çıkan doğrusal fresnel güneş güç sistemleri ele alınarak incelenmiştir.

Today, widely used fossil-based fuels, which are dependent, have high cost, lack of renewable resources, to be exhausted after a certain period of time to one side, which creates the greenhouse effect of carbon dioxide because of the burning and so result of environmental hazards, increased the importance of alternative energy sources. The easiest and most widely used of these resources is solar energy for our country. In this study, which is so important for our country and the potential use of solar energy and solar power systems to the fore in terms of the advantages resulting linear fresnel solar power systems were examined.
