Bu çalışmada; ahşap kapı üst sereninde uygulanan zıvanalı birleşimlerin çekme dayanımı değerleri ile malzeme türü arasındaki ilişki belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Ahşap kapı üst sereni birleşim yerleri deney örneklerinin üretilmesinde, Batı Karadeniz yöresine ait ikinci sınıf kavak, kestane ve çam kerestesi kullanılmıştır. Her bir kereste türü için 30 adet zıvanalı 900 köşe birleşim yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak ahşap kapı üst sereni köşe birleşimlerinin çekme dayanımı bakımından çam kerestesinin kavak ve kestane kerestelerinden daha iyi performans sergilediği görülmüştür.

In this study; the relationship between tensile strength of mortise joints which were applied to door top?s spar and material type was investigated. For the production of wooden door top?s spar joints second class poplar, chestnut and pine wood which are belong to Black Sea region were utilized. For each wood type, 30 specimens of 900 mortise joints were prepared. As a result, it was determined, that the tensile strength of mortise joints prepared by using pine wood is higher than that prepared by poplar and chestnut woods.
