BIM and COBie for Facility Management
A building which has been modeled by using Building Information Modeling (BIM)software, has a graphical information which is the 3D geometry, and non-graphicalinformation which is the data of this geometry.This data can be exported in many formats likeConstruction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie) format to use it in FacilityManagement (FM) and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) during the building lifecycle.
