İş sağlığı ve güvenliği açısından; üretim sisteminde çalışan insanın sağlığını korumak, güvenliğini sağlamak ve yapılan işin nicelik ve niteliğini artırmak amacıyla yapılan çalışmalar giderek önem kazanmaktadır. Çalışma ortamında insan sağlığını riske eden kaza olasılığını arttıran bütün faktörlerin ergonomik değerlendirmelerle azaltılması hatta ortadan kaldırılması mümkündür. Bu çalışmada, gıda üretim alanında faaliyet gösteren bir şekerleme firması ele alınmış, firmanın çalışma koşulları ergonomik açıdan incelenmiştir. Çalışanlara sağlık ve iş güvenliği açısından uygun ve rahat bir çalışma ortamı sağlandığı ölçüde iş gücünün verimi olumlu yönde etkilenecektir. İşyerinde çalışma ortamında; gürültü, titreşim, termal konfor, aydınlatma, kimyasallar, tozlar, makine ve teçhizatlar, çalışandan kaynaklı faktörler, işe ilişkin bilgiler, işletme yapısına bağlı gözlemler ve işletme yönetimi ergonomik yönden ele alınmıştır. İşyerinde ergonomik risk faktörlerinin kontrolünde azaltıcı etkin tedbirlerin belirlenmesi ve daha önce kurulmuş sistemlerin etkinliğinin değerlendirilmesi önemli bir aşamadır. Şekerleme firmasında yapılan çalışma sonucunda; işletmenin çalışma ortamı koşulları ergonomik faktörler açısından araştırılmış ve görülen eksiklikler belirlenmiştir.

In terms of occupational health and safety; It is becoming increasingly important to protect the health of and provide the safety of the people working in the production system and to increase quality and quantity of the work done. It is possible to lower or remove all risk factors that increase the probability of accidents which cause human health in the working environment by ergonomics evaluation. In this study, a confectionery company operating in the field of production was handled and the working conditions of the company were investigated from an ergonomic point of view. The efficiency of the employees will be affected positively by providing a comfortable and appropriate working environment in terms of health and work safety. Occupational noise, vibration, thermal comfort, lighting, chemicals, dust, factors originating from employees, information about the work, observations related to structure of the enterprise and management of the business. Determining effective measures to reduce ergonomic risk factors in the workplace and evaluating the effectiveness of previously established systems is an important milestone. As a result of the work done in the confectionery company; ergonomic factors encountered in the working environment of the company were investigated and the observed deficiencies were determined.
