HASTANELERDE YATAK KULLANIM ETKİNLİĞİNİN PABÓN LASSO MODELİ İLE ANALİZİ

Bu araştırmanın amacı, hastanelerde yatak kullanım etkinliğinin Pabón Lasso Modeli ile analiz edilmesidir. Araştırma kapsamına Türkiye Kamu Hastaneleri Kurumu’na bağlı hastanelerin klinikler alınmıştır. Araştırmada hastanelerin yatak kullanımı etkinliğini tespit edebilmek için Pabón Lasso Modeli kullanılmıştır. Modelde değişken olarak yatak doluluk oranı, yatak devir hızı ve ortalama yatış süresi alınmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler Kamu Hastaneleri istatistik yıllığından derlenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde MS Visio yazılımından yararlanılmıştır. Pabón Lasso modeline göre yapılan analiz sonucunda kliniklerin % 23’nün mükemmel bir performans (yüksek yatak devir hızı ve yüksek yatak doluluk oranı ve kısa yatış süresi), %18’nin ise çok düşük bir performans (düşük yatak doluluk oranı, düşük yatak devir hızı, uzun yatış süresi) düzeyine sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Hastanelerin diğer kliniklerin (%59) ise modelde değişken olarak kullanılan performans göstergelerinin en az biri bakımından çok düşük performansa olduğu saptanmıştır.

ANALYSIS OF CLINICAL BED UTILIZATION EFFECTIVENESS IN HOSPITALS WITH PABÓN LASSO MODEL

The purpose of this research is to analyze the bed- utilization effectiveness in hospitals with Pabón Lasso Model. Within the scope of the research, clinicals of the hospitals affiliated to the Public Hospital Unions of Turkey were obtained. The Pabón Lasso Model was used in the study to determine the effectiveness of hospital bed utilization. In the model, bed occupancy rate, bed turnover rate and average length of stay, which are hospital performance indicators, were taken variable. The data of the study were compiled from public hospital associations statistical yearbook data. MS Visio software was used for analyzing the data. According to the Pabón Lasso model, 23% of the clinicals exhibited excellent performance (high bed turnover and high bed turnover rate and short average length of stay), while 18% had a very low performance (low bed turnover and low bed turnover rate, long length of stay). Other clinics (59%) of the hospitals were found to be very low in terms of at least one performance indicator.
