Bu çalışmanın amacı günümüzde ortaya çıkan iktisadî problemlerin İslamî açıdan değerlendirilmesinde fıkıh geleneğimizin ne ölçüde işlevsel olabileceği tartışmalarına ışık tutmaktır. Konuya ilişkin üç temel bakış açısından birine göre fıkıh geleneği bu konuda işlevsel olmadığından günümüze bir katkı sunamaz. Bir başka yaklaşım ise fıkıh geleneğinden herhangi bir usule dayanmaksızın gelişi güzel tercihlerde bulunan telfikçi yaklaşımdır. Bizim savunduğumuz yenilikçi yaklaşım ise fıkıh geleneğinin aynen değil ancak yenilenerek günümüz sorunlarının çözümüne katkı sunabileceği yönündedir.

This work aims to clarify how functional is the fiqh tradition in regarding the modern economic problems from Islamic perspective. There are three points of view in this subject. One of them holds that the fiqh tradition is not functional anymore, so it can’t contribute in this area. Another approach –called the eclectic approach- makes preferences from the fiqh tradition randomly without using any reliable method. The innovative approach that is supported in this paper holds that fiqh tradition can contribute in solving the economic problems in Islamic perspective but not in the way of simulation or eclecticism but by renewing
