TÜRKİYE’DE KOOPERATİF SİGORTACILIĞININ PERFORMANSI ÜZERİNE BİR ÇALIŞMA: CARAMELS ANALİZİ

Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de kurulan ve 2017 yılına kadar kooperatif sigortacılığı olarak faaliyetlerine devam eden "KORU" ve "DOĞA" sigorta şirketlerinin mali performansları analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada her iki kooperatif sigorta oluşumunun mali verileri CARAMELS yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiş ve bu yöntemde yer alan oranlar karşısında yeterliliği sağlayıp sağlamadıkları kontrol edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen verilere göre kooperatif sigorta şirketlerin performans göstergelerini yakalamadaki ya da sağlamadaki en önemli etkenlerden birinin yönetimin etkinliği (personel başına prim) olduğu görülmüştür.
