Nöbet formlarına bakılmaksızın EEG'lerinde fokus tespit edilen 17 olguda SPECT çalışıldı. Çalışmaya alınan 17 olgunun 14 'ünde (% 82.3) ve tekrarlanan EEG 'lerindefokusu aynı tarafta ısrar eden 10 olgunun 7'sinde EEG ve SPECT patolojisi uyumlu bulunarak epilepside SP ECT çalışmasının fokus tespitindeyararlı olduğu sonucuna varıldı.

SPECT was studied in 17 patients who uncaredfor their epileptic seizure forms and presented epileptic focus on their EEG. In this study in 14 of 17 patients (% 82.3) and focuses persisted on EEG which was repeated and 7 of 10 EEG and SPECT pathologies are consistent each other and it was concluded that SPECT study has been useful for establishing focus in epilepsy.
