Soru-cevap yöntemi, öteden beri ilim öğrenme vasıtaları arasındaki yerini korumuştur. Tâbiîler, genel anlamda sahâbeden soru-cevap yöntemiyle çok sayıda hadis öğrenmiştir. Bunun yanında tâbiîler, hadis nakletmelerinin ardından sahâbeye çeşitli sebeplerle “Resulullah’tan duydun mu?” sorularını yöneltmiştir. Bu soruların özel olarak incelenmesiyle hem hadislerin tespiti hem de tâbiînin hadis rivayetindeki etkisi ortaya koyulmuştur. Sözü edilen konu, yakın tarihte Fatih Mehmet Yılmaz tarafından Hadislerin Tespitinde Tâbiînin Rolü: “Resullulah’tan (sav.) Duydun mu?” isimli çalışmada ele alınmıştır. Bu yazının konusu, Yılmaz’ın ilgili çalışmasıdır.

The question-answer method has long been used in It has maintained its place among the means of learning. The followers, in a general sense learned a large number of hadiths from the companions through the question-and-answer method. In addition to this after narrating the hadiths, the followers asked the companions, for various reasons, " Have you heard from the Messenger of Allah?". Through a specific examination of these questions both the determination of hadiths and the influence of the tâbiîn on hadith narration has been put forward. The aforementioned topic was recently discussed by Fatih Mehmet Yılmaz in his book Hadiths The Role of the Tâbiîn in Determination: "Have You Heard from the Messenger of Allah (saw)?" has been addressed. The subject of this article is Yılmaz's related work.
