İktisadi Düşüncenin Gelişimi ve İktisat Okulları

Binlerce yıla yayılan iktisadi düşünce tarihini Modern Dönem Öncesi, Erken Modern Dönem ve Modern Dönem olmak üzere kabaca üç döneme ayırmak olanaklıdır. Bu süreç sonunda birçok filozof ve düşünür iktisadi sorunların çözümü için önermeler de bulunarak büyük bir bilgi birikimine yol açmışlardır. Modern Dönem’de iktisadi bilgiler ilk kez bilimsel yöntemlerle toplanmaya ve çözümlenmeye başlanmış ve böylelikle iktisat bir bilim haline gelmiştir

It is possible to divide the history of economic thought, which spans thousands of years, into roughly three periods: Pre-Modern Period, Early Modern Period and Modern Period.
