The Effect of Balance Training by Tetrax Interactive Balance System on Fall Risk and Disability in Women With Knee Osteoarthritis

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of balance training on balance and disability. The participants were 27 female, who were graded II and III knee osteoartrit according to ‘‘Kellegren-Lawrence Scale’’. Sociodemographic features were recorded. Then their balance tests (Tetrax Interactive Balance System)and disability tests (by West Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis index (WOMAC) were applied. We think that appropriate physiotheraphy and rehabilitation program that is prepared for knee osteoartrit patients will contribute the improvements about correcting patients’ balance according to this study
