Erzurum'dan Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıt ve sarı çam (Pinus sylvestris L.) zararlısı, Phoenicocoris obscurellus (Fallen, 1829) (Heteroptera: Miridae)
Phoenicocoris obscurellus (Fallen, 1829) (Heteroptera: Miridae) Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıt ve yeni bir sarı çam (Pinus sylvestris L.) zararlısı olarak Erzurum'dan saptanmıştır. Bu tür, 1996-1998 yıllarında Erzurum'da Atatürk Üniversitesi Kampus alanında ışık tuzağında yakalanmıştır. Ph. obscurellus un san çam üzerinde beslenmesi izlenmiş ve sarı çamlarda yoğunluk oluşturarak en önemli heteropter türü olduğu görülmüştür.

Phoenicocoris obscurellus (Fallen, 1829) (Heteroptera: Miridae) a new record and a new scotch pine (Pi n us sylvestris L.) pest for Turkey from Erzurum Phoenicocoris obscurellus (Fallen, 1829) (Heteroptera; Miridae) is recorded for the first time in Turkish fauna and the scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L) pest in Turkey. This species was caught in light trap on the Campus of Atatürk University in Erzurum (Turkey) in 1996-1998. Feeding of Ph. obscurellus on P. sylvestris was observed in high density. It is determined as an important pest in the species of Heteroptera causing damage on this plant.
