İzmir ilinde örtüaltı hıyar yetiştiriciliğinde trips türlerinin (Thysanoptera) belirlenmesi, yayılış ve bulunuş oranı üzerinde araştırmalar

İzmir İlinde örtüaltı hıyar yetiştiriciliği yapılan alanlardaki trips türlerinin yayılış ve bulunuş alanlarının belirlenmesi amacı ile 15 Haziran 2001 ve 4 Eylül 2002 tarihleri arasında Bayındır'da 1, Menderes'te 135, Seferihisar'da 6, Torbalı ve Urla'da 19'ar sera olmak üzere toplam 180 serada survey yapılmıştır. Seraların % 86,6'sının tripsle bulaşık olduğu saptanmış, toplam 12 tür bulunmuştur. İncelenen seralar içinde en çok rastlanan tür Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) (% 71.1), ikinci derecede yaygın olan tür ise Thrips tabaci Lindeman (% 18.3) olmuştur. Bu iki tür dışında bulunan diğer trips türleri T. angusticeps Uzel, T. physapus Linnaeus, Ceratothrips pattidivestis (Priesner), Limothrips angulicornis Jablonowski, Haplothrips flavinctus Karny, H. reuteri (Karny) ve H. andresi Priesner olup, bu türlerin bulunuş ve yayılış oranlan çok düşük olarak saptanmıştır. Ayrıca çalışmada yararlı trips türlerinden Aeolothrips collaris Priesner, A. intermedius Bagnall ve Scolothrlps longicornis Priesner saptanmıştır.

Thysanoptera in greenhouse grown cucumbers: distribution and frequency of the species in İzmir province

The distribution and frequency of Thysanoptera species in greenhouse grown cucumber in Izmir province were investigated between June 15, 2001 and September 4, 2002. One in Bayındır, 135 in Menderes, six in Seferihisar, 19 in Torbalı and 19 in Urla, totally 180 greenhouses were surveyed. Totally 12 thrips species were found. Greenhouses were infested by thrips in the rate of 86.6 %. The dominant species was Frankliniella occidentalis (Pergande) (71.1 %) and was followed, at a far distance, by Thrips tabaci Lindeman (18.3 %). The other species were T. angusticeps Uzel, T. physapus Linnaeus, Ceratothrips pallidivestis (Priesner), Limothrips anguttcomis Jablonowski, Haplothrips flavinctus Karny, H. reuteri (Karny) H. andresi Priesner. The abundance and frequency of the other species were lower. Besides Scolothrips longicornis Priesner, Aeolothrlps collaris Priesner, and A. intermedius Bagnall were found as beneficial thrips species.
