İzmir İli turunçgil alanlarında turunçgil pamuklu beyazsineği Aleurothrixus floccosus (Maskell) (Homoptera:Aleyrodidae)'un yayılışı,zararı ve populasyon yoğunluğu üzerinde araştırmalar

Bu çalışmada yurdumuza yeni bulaşan Aleyrodidae familyasından turunçgil pamuklu beyazsinek Aleurothrixus floccosus (Maskell)'un İzmir ili turunçgil bahçelerindeki durumu incelenmiştir. İzmir ilinde turunçgil yetiştiriciliği yapılan Balçova, Çeşme, Güzelbahçe, Karaburun, Menderes, Menemen, Narlıdere, Seferihisar, Selçuk ve Urla ilçelerinde 2000 yılındaki yayılış alanları belirlenmiştir. Sonuçta Karaburun ilçesinin tamamen bulaşık, Selçuk ve Menderes ilçelerinin kısmen bulaşık olduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca zararlının Eylül 2000-Eylül 2001 tarihleri arasındaki populasyon yoğunluğu, bulaşık olduğu saptanan üç ilçede aylık sayımlar yapılarak incelenmiştir. Bu değerlere göre A. floccosus (Maskell)'un yumurta bırakması mayıs ayından eylül ayına kadar devam etmekte ve eylül ayından nisan ayına kadar çoğunlukla nimf bazı yerlerde pupa döneminde kışlamaktadır. Zararlının zarar şekli de incelenmiş, beslenmek ve yumurta bırakmak için özellikle iç ve etek dallan tercih ettiği, son dönem nimflerinin pamuksu ve damlalar halinde tatlı madde zararını arttırdığı, aynı ağaç üzerinde Dialeurod.es citri ile birlikte bulunabildiği saptanmıştır.

An investigations on the population,distribution and damage of the wooly whitefly, Aleurothrixus floccosus (Maskell)(Homoptera:Aleyrodidae) on citrus areas in İzmir province of Turkey

An investigations on the population, distribution and damage of the Wooly whitefly, Aleurothrixus floccosus (Maskeli) (Homoptera: Aleyrodidae) on citrus areas in Izmir province of Turkey In this study, the wooly whitefly, Aleurothrixus floccosus on citrus orchards in İzmir province was determined. The distribution areas of A. floccosus in the counties of İzmir; Balcova, Çeşme, Güzelbahçe, Karaburun, Menderes, Menemen, Narlıdere, Seferihisar, Selçuk and Urla were determined in the year 2000 and 2001. In conculation, it is obtained that Karaburun county is completely; Selçuk and Menderes counties are infected partially. Moreover, the population of the species between September 2000 and September 2001 is examined in three infected counties. It is determined that the oviposition period of A. floccosus from may until September and overwinter in nymph stages from September to april. The damage of the species was examined that inner and foot branches were preferred to food and oviposition and the cottonish substances are secreted in the last nymphal stages.
