İstanbul (Türkiye) park ve süs bitkilerinde tespit edilen Raphignathoid akarları (Acari: Prostigmata: Raphignathoidea)

İstanbul park ve süs bitkilerinden toplanan Raphignathoid (Acari; Prostigmata) akarlar değerlendirilmiştir. Örnekler 2006-2008 yıllarında alınmıştır. Akar örnekleri Berlese hunisi ile ekstrakte edilmiş, laktofenolle temizlenmiş ve Hoyer ortamında preparatları yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak Raphignathidae ve Stigmaeidae familyalarına ait toplam 7 tür tespit edilmiştir. Bunlardan; Agistemus collyerae Gonzalez, 1963, Mediolata chanti Gonzalez, 1965 ve Eryngiopus tauricus Kuznetsov, 1978 Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıtlardır.

Determination of Raphignathoid mites (Acari: Prostigmata: Raphignathoidea) ornamental plants of Istanbul (Turkey)

Raphignathoid (Acari; Prostigmata) mites, which were collected from Istanbul parks and ornamental plants, have been evaluated. Samples were taken during 2006-2008 years. Mite samples were extracted with Berlese funnel, cleared in lactophenol solutions and mounted in Hoyer’s medium. As a result, a total of seven species belonging to the families Stigmaeidae and Raphignathidae have been determined. Of these; Agistemus collyerae Gonzalez,1963, Mediolata chanti Gonzalez, 1965 and Eryngiopus tauricus Kuznetsov, 1978 are new record for the Turkish fauna.
