Bu çalışmada; Hatay ili bölgesinde Amanos dağlarından ve Karabük ili Yenice ormanlarından toplanan Provertex forsslundi Krivolutsky, 1969, Scutovertex sculptus Michael, 1879 (Oribatida: Scutoverticidae) ve Ophidiotrichus tectus (Michael, 1884) (Oribatida: Oribatellidae)’nin morfolojik özellikleri tarama elektron mikroskobu ile incelenmiştir. Tespit edilen oribatid akarların örneklerimiz üzerinden tanımları gözden geçirilerek, dünyadaki ve Türkiye’deki yayılışları verilmiştir. Bu türlerden Provertex forsslundi Krivolutsky, 1969 ve Ophidiotrichus tectus (Michael, 1884) Türkiye faunası için yeni kayıttır.

In this study, the morphological features of Provertex forsslundi Krivolutsky, 1969, Scutovertex sculptus Michael, 1879 (Oribatida: Scutoverticidae) and Ophidiotrichus tectus (Michael, 1884) (Oribatida: Oribatellidae) collected from the Amanos Mountains in the province of Hatay and Yenice forest in Karabük were examined by using the scanning electron microscopy. The features of the determined oribatid mites were revised on the basis of the collected samples, and their distributions in the world and Turkey were given. From these species, Provertex forsslundi Krivolutsky, 1969 and Ophidiotrichus tectus (Michael, 1884) are new records for the fauna of Turkey.
