EXPERIENCING / PERSPECTIVE FROM A SPECIAL CHILD'S WINDOW

Interior Design Project titled "Experiencing / Perspective From A Special Child's Window" is aproduct of an experimental work carried out with the 3th grade students of the Department of InteriorArchitecture and Environmental Design, Istanbul Kültür University. Studio aimed at evaluating theUniversal Design Principles from an Autistic Childs eye. In this context; it is aimed that to beconsidered as a holistic approach, individuals with differences in the society should not be restrictedby these features and that they can benefit from the physical environment equally and that theirlearning activities can be held in a healthier environment. In the ''Perspective From A Special Child'sWindow…’’ studio, the design criteria for educational buildings for children with autism who has animportant place in society is discussed.
