A new species of the genus Camponotus (Mayr) (Hymenoptera, Formicidae) from Turkey

A new species, Camponotus praegracilis Karaman et Kiran sp. nov. is described; it is a member of the subgenus Tanaemyrmex, from the most species-rich ant genus in Turkey. Some biological notes for the new species are also given. Diagnostic characters of thenew species, distinguishing the new species from the most similar species, are also described.
