Kur’ân Tarihi ve Kıraatler meselesi, İslâmî ilimlerin içerisinde yer alan dikkat çekici ve önemli konulardandır. Özellikle Ehl-i Sünnet geleneği içerisinde ilk dönemlerden itibaren önemli bir yer tutan Kur’ân tarihi ve kıraatler, Şîa düşüncesi açısından da anlamlandırılmış ve Şîa’nın bu konulara yaklaşımları araştırma konusu yapılmıştır. Şîa’nın Kıraatlere ve Kur’ân Tarihine Bakışı isimli çalışma, Doç. Dr. Ziya ŞEN tarafından hazırlanan doçentlik çalışmasının kitap haline getirilmiş şeklidir. Şen, eserinde Şîa’nın Kur’ân Tarihine, kıraatlere ve yedi harf meselesine nasıl yaklaştığını ortaya koymaya çalışmıştır. Eser giriş, iki ana bölüm ve sonuç kısmından oluşmaktadır ve toplamda 339 sayfadır. Çalışmamız, bu eser üzerine bir tanıtım ve değerlendirme niteliği taşımaktadır.
