Determination of characters regarding to seed yield using correlation and path analysis in inoculated and non-inoculated common vetch (Vicia sativa L.)

This research was conducted to determine characters effecting seed yield in inoculated and non-inoculated vetch varieties by using simple correlation coefficient and path analysis in Samsun conditions between years of 2001-2003. Results indicated that biological yield, maturity day, thousand seed weight in noninoculant vetch varieties and biological yield, maturity day and pod number in inoculant vetch varieties can be used for the selection criteria.
