Synthesis of 2'-deoxy-2'-fluoro-L-arabinofuranosyl imidazole derivatives

A new series of imidazole nucleosides was synthesized via direct condensation and construction of heterocyclic moiety from glycosyl amine templates. The characterization of the compounds was accomplished by elemental analysis, $^1H$-NMR, $^{13}C$-NMR, IR, UV-VIS spectral data and optical rotation.
