Synthesis of 2'-Deoxy-2'-fluoro-L-arabinofuranosyl Imidazole Derivatives

A new series of imidazole nucleosides was synthesized via direct condensation and construction of heterocyclic moiety from glycosyl amine templates. The characterization of the compounds was accomplished by elemental analysis, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, IR, UV-VIS spectral data and optical rotation.
