Akupunktur ve Veteriner Doğum ve Jinekolojide Uygulanması

Akupunktur Çin ve diğer Asya ülkelerinde 4.000 yılı aşkın bir süredir uygulanılan bir yöntemdir. Günümüzde alternatif tıp ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalar rağbet görmektedir ve diğer medikal branşlarda olduğu gibi veteriner doğum ve jinekoloji alanında da alternatif tıpla ilgili arayış bulunmaktadır. Beşeri ve veteriner hekimlikte kullanım alanı bulan akupunkturun veteriner doğum ve jinekolojide infertilite problemlerini çözmede, genital kanala ait patolojilerin tedavisinde kullanıldığı görülmektedir. Bu nedenle sunulan derlemede akupunktur hakkında kısa bilgi vererek veteriner doğum ve jinekolojide akupunkturun kullanımı ve etkinliğine ait bilgilerin sunulması amaçlanmıştır.

Acupuncture and its application in veterinary obstetrics and gynecology

Acupuncture has been practiced in China and other Asian countries for over 4.000 years. Today, studies on alternative medicine are in demand and there is a search for alternative medicine in the field of veterinary obstetrics and gynecology, as in other medical branches. It is seen that acupuncture, which is used in human and veterinary medicine, is used in solving infertility problems in veterinary obstetrics and gynecology, and in the treatment of genital canal pathologies. For this reason, in the presented review, it is aimed to present information about the use and effectiveness of acupuncture in veterinary obstetrics and gynecology by giving brief information about acupuncture.
