Aortik lenfadenektomi jinekolojik kanserlerde evreleme ve terapötik amaçlarla uygulanmaktadır. Her iki uygulama için de cerrahi endikasyonun kesin olması ve hastanın yararı düşünülmelidir. Aortik lenfadenektomide diseksiyon sınırları çok iyi belirlenmeli ve en fazla prognostik bilgiyi verecek ya da terapötik yararı sağlayacak sayıda lenf bezi çıkartılmaya çalışılmalıdır. Bu yazıda aortik lenfadenektomi cerrahi tekniği anlatılmıştır.

In the surgical treatment of gynecological cancers aortic lymphadenectomy is used both for staging and therapeutic purposes. The indications and boundaries of dissection should be welldefined and a sufficient number of nodes giving the best prognostic information and therapeutic benefit should be removed. In this paper the surgical technique of aortic lympadenectomy is defined.
