Karpal tünel sendromunun tedavisinde bilek traksiyonunun ağrı ve elin fonksiyonelliği üzerine etkisi

Amaç: Çalışma karpal tünel sendromu (KTS) tedavisinde traksiyonun etkinliğini araştırmak amacıyla yapıldı. Gereç ve yöntem: KTS tanısı olan 60 olgu rastgele yöntemle 2 gruba ayrılarak, kontrol grubundaki 30 bireye hot-pack, terapatik ultrason ve egzersiz programından oluşan konservatif tedavi yaklaşımı, traksiyon grubundaki 30 bireye ise bu tedavi yöntemlerine ek olarak ‘Carpal Trac’ KTS traksiyon aleti kullanılarak mekanik traksiyon uygulandı. Tedavi programı haftada 5 gün olmak üzere, 3 hafta süre ile uygulandı. Olgular tedavi öncesi ve sonrasında ağrı ve fonksiyonel yönden değerlendirildi.
