Rüptüre Olmamış Kornual Gebeliğin İntravenöz Methotrexate İle Başarılı Tedavisi: Olgu Sunumu

Ektopik gebeliğin sık karşılaşılmayan bir tipi olan kornual gebelik, tüm ektopik gebelik olgularının %2-4'ünü oluşturmaktadır. Morbidite ve mortalitesi direkt olarak tanıdan önce geçen sürenin uzunluğu ile ilişkilidir. Hastayı kötü sonuçtan korumada erken tanı ve etkili tedavi esasdır. Bu makalede amaç 5. gebelik haftasında tanı alan bir kornual gebelik vakasını sunmaktadır. Tedavide intravenöz çift doz Methotrexate (50 mg/m2) başarıyla kullanıldı ve izlem transvajinal ultrason ve seri B-hCG ölçümleri ile gerçekleştirildi. Successful Treatment of Unruptured Cornual Pregnancy Usıng Intravenous Methotrexate: A Case Report

Cornual pregnancy, which is unusual type of ectopic pregnancy, comprises 2-4% of all ectopic pregnancies. Its morbidity and mortality are directly related to the length of time before diagnosis. Early diagnosis and effective treatment are essential to prevent patient from poor outcome. This paper presents a case of a cornual pregnancy diagnosed in the 5th week of gestation. Intravenous double dose Methotrexate (50 mg/m2) was used successfully in the treatment and follow-up was carried out using transvaginal ultrasound and serial B-hCG estimations.
